TVDA Interclub Archery Shoot
This is the second instalment of the Interclub shoot series between Lakeview, Pine Ridge, Franklin and TVDA.

• The event is made up of a round of 20 targets in the morning, a break for lunch and another round of 20 targets in the afternoon.
• This competition is first and foremost a fun day of archery for the family.

This event will replace our September Club day.

​​Kids Swazi Shoot
Only TVDA branch members are entitled to take the Swazi prizes on the day.  This is in accordance with the rules set out by Swazi as the major sponsor.  TVDA  provides additional prizes to make up a full complement of items to ensure that everyone on the day takes home a prize. 

The process for awarding prizes is for the HOA to take the “pick of the table” and then all other entrants have their names drawn out of the hat.

Kids Little 3 / Pest Busters Hunting Competition
This event has varying options with regard to which target species are “in the competition”.  It is always undertaken with the view of teaching the youngsters about conservation as well as ethical and responsible hunting, and ongoing pest control work.

There is also an excellent array of prizes on the day.

Kaihere School Hunting Competition (supported by TVDA)
The Kaihere Hunt is an annual family-friendly hunting competition and fundraiser organised by the Kaihere School PTA.

Event Overview

• Location:  Kaihere School, 1115B State Highway 27, Kaihere
• Timing:  Typically held over a weekend in early June (Friday midday to Sunday midday) with a final Sunday weigh-in and prizegiving day open to the community.
• Purpose:  Community pest control and fundraising (including selling possum fur).

 
Hunting Categories

• Adults (16+ years): Categories feature major game and pest counts, including heaviest deer, best head, biggest tusks, average weight pig, and possum tallies.
• Kids (15 years & under): Family-friendly categories covering pests, runners, climbers and flyers with entry perks like goody bags.

 
Sunday Weigh-In & Community Day

• Features a weigh-in line, coffee cart, barbecue, baking, kids' activities, and a public display of the hunts.
